Is this an example of where Altec was actually selling these(755's) to WE?

I was very surprised to see Dukane on the tag as i thought they outsourced most of their better stuff from JBL.

The only thing DuKane was the box. Probably a bid deal is my guess.

DuKane did a bunch of deals with JBL-you are correct. JBL got some of DuKane's paging horns, in exchange DuKane got JBL's multicells and drivers.

DuKane also sold White Equalizers. Later, late 70's or so, DuKane sold Community horns instead with Emilar drivers, then moved to Renkus Heinz.

I used to make good bucks salvaging DuKane stuff nobody knew what it actually was. But these days even old cheap stuff brings ridiculous prices on FeePay.

DuKane was an equal opportunity re-seller, using numerous brands over time until they eventually set up their own driver manufacturing facility under the Quincy? name and began selling to other OEMs. What goes around comes around.......
